Those who first encountered the risen Lord Jesus were transformed. Jesus appeared to Mary Magdalene, the disciples and Thomas and dealt with them where they were at. They did not stay the same. Mark encourages us to see that God loves us unconditionally - which is why He came to die for us. Jesus wants to meet us where we are at and transform us.
